Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is for empowering individuals, strengthening communities, bridging barriers, creating solutions to social problems and moving us all closer to his vision of a “Beloved Community.”
GP celebrated Dr. King’s 90th birthday at Seminole County Elementary School, a neighbor to the GP Cedar Springs Containerboard facility, making this a very personal connection. Hurricane Michael left the community in complete destruction and the students were in critical need of basic school supplies.
