Here's NBC 5 News Today at 9am's close that was recorded on Saturday, October 8th, 2022. This is the NBC O&O station for the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.
I've been on the run finding some more long closes, and especially with AM montages, so here's another that I have recorded the following day in order to compliment my previous upload to KXAS's weekday morning newscast aka the NBC 5 News Today at 6am close from the recording day of yesterday, 10/7/2022.
This one's not my very best catch, but seems to be good enough for me to upload with the music playing for about 13 seconds long in this close.
I unfortunately don't have an open to their 9am newscast, however I have plans to actually get a full montage on their AM newscasts for both during the weekday and weekend sometime. It may be a wait as I'm planning to saving this for an OTA montage as my family plans to hopefully visit family down in DFW before the end of this year!
Branding specs include:
-Graphics are the NBCU | NBC and Telemundo O&O standard, "Look S" by the Arthouse (NBCU's graphics design hub down here in DFW with this station being the flagship hub to it)
-Music is "The Rock" by Stephen Arnold Music, specifically updates to it, and you can hear in the close they're using a new morning theme (Don't take my word in what the name is, however I'm suspecting the name of it is "AM News D", as the OG had it's original morning theme, with the 2014 updates having another AM theme, and WJHG's third morning theme that's name is probably "AM Theme C").
-The station's voiceover artist is John Pleisse, a true standard towards the NBC O&Os, although not every of those stations incorporate him.
But other than that, enjoy this close in the meantime!
