Camcorders have a distinct shape in the camera world and for good reason. Most camcorders are superzoom cameras just like bridge cameras. In fact, camcorders have almost the exact same zoom range as bridge cameras and other superzooms, oftentimes much more than compact pocket cameras. Camcorders are very popular with many people because of the ergonomics but why? This design also gives camcorders a BIG edge over most other cameras as far as dust protection. Watch, learn and enjoy!
