Rounded Posture? Tight Pecs? Chest sore? Here are a couple of stretches for you! If you find yourself stretching a muscle ALL THE TIME and are not noticing a decrease in pain or an increase in range of motion, then it is time to start strengthening it and strengthening the muscles around it!
Stretching is great for temporary relief and a temporary increase in range of motion, but it will not improve the stability of a joint. Stretching is best combined with self massaging, strengthening, and controlled full-range-of-motion exercises!
The second video is a little goofy, but has a simple premise... if you have a tight muscle, strengthening the opposing muscle to stretch the tight one. The rotational movement that I do is helping to turn on the serratus anterior and the lower and mid trapezius to strengthen those muscles and LENGTHEN the Pectoralis Minor.
