Cacti and other succulents are not only worthwhile growing for their stunning flowers and blooms, but equally also for their awesome looks, spinations, unique and diverse appearances, shapes and forms... Among those diverse forms, there is a particularly special group of plants that I collect and grow in my greenhouse, and which has always been very close to my heart: my crested, twisted and monstrose cacti! In this video I would like to introduce you to some of these very special and awesome looking plants ...the truly weird and wonderful! Also, I explain how these special growth forms develop? What triggers this growth? How to cultivate these plants? These forms are also often called cristate, cristata, cristatus or monstrosus, monstruosus or spiralis, varispiralis, etc.
