Demodex are microscopic arachnids that live on human skin. These 8-legged mites spend daylight hours buried inside hair roots and oil glands on your face. At night they come to the surface to eat dead skin cells. Living 2-3 weeks, Demodex lay eggs and eventually die inside facial skin.
