Whether or not we realize we're doing it, we are always processing the sounds of the world around us. Occasionally something memorable emerges from this processing and gets lodged in our subsconscious, inspiring thoughts, art and even patches at a later time!

In this example the sounds of the bike I commute to work on lingered in my mind and I decided to explore the sounds through the Morphagene, QPAS and X-PAN. I headed out to a field near the Make Noise shop, recorded the sounds and loaded them as a Reel onto the Morpagene.

The controls on the Morphagene (in particular Vari-Speed, Gene-Sie and Morph) alone were enough to transform the recordings into new territories. Adding to this were the tibral shaping of QPAS and the stereophonic panorama of X-PAN.
