the hotel is called Explorers retreat Matlock bath
it's a perfect location to stay over for a night for a short get away.
short walk to get to Gulliver's kingdom , however it's very hilly so very tiring! haha
if you have little kids that likes to be carried you will need some strength.

all in all the hotel is good enough for it's price, it's not far from the shops, arcades, chippys in Matlock it's about 5 mins walk away.

the Sainsbury's is quite a distance just under two miles so I would recommend going there in a car.
