This video demonstrates how to alter basic major chords to form major 7th, dominant 7th, minor, minor/major 7th, minor 7th and even diminished chords on octave mandolin. Of course these chords work on any 4-course mandolin-family instrument tuned in 5ths, although the names change on mandola. Also includes a very basic arrangement of "Oh My Darling, Clementine" and an intermediate arrangement of John Hartford's "Gentle On My Mind", for practice.
