Welcome to Dead by Daylight, Survivors! If you’re just starting out, we’re here to walk you through the game’s ground rules and cover all the basics you’ll need to play as any of our Survivors.

Dead by Daylight has an extensive roster of Survivors to play as, ranging from our own original characters to a selection of iconic personalities from horror movies and gaming. While every Survivor brings something different to the table, they all share the same goals and this video will give you the foundation you need to evade the Killer, stay off the dreaded hook, and work together to escape the trial.

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly – stay alive.
