Hello and Welcome to my channel
This video shows how I managed to successfully print a full scale articulated dragon with minor changes in the slicer settings.
3D Slicer software: Creality Slicer
3D printer/hardware: Ender 3
Material (Colour) : PLA(Pink)
The main reason I've changed these settings is because of how often my filament get clogged in the hot end in such short amount of time especially when printing something with much larger scale
The changes I've made are stated as below
Hot End/Nozzle/Print Temperature : 210 degrees Celsius
Bed Temperature : 60 degrees Celsius
Retraction Speed : 80mm/s
Retraction Distance : 4mm
Cooling : 100%
Side notes (for reference) :
Retraction Speed is applied in both ways
1# The speed of the extruder pull the filament away from the nozzle
2# The speed of the extruder pushing the filament into the nozzle also commonly known as Retraction Prime Speed (priming)
Hopefully some of these tips will help with your 3D prints in the future
