Quick audio test using the Zoom H1 portable recorder directly connected to my iPhone via USB and Apple's camera connection kit (CCK).
Please note that this setup requires a USB hub. Otherwise, if you plug the Zoom H1 directly into your iPhone (or iPad), you will get a "device uses too much power" error.
I'm currently using a powered USB hub from Belkin but without the AC adapter. Weird, I know... but it works and is a completely portable, high quality recording solution!
