The Toronto real estate market 2022 is changing; just look at 2021 and 2022 figures. If you've followed the typical media, you'd believe the Toronto housing market was crashing. But that's not the case.

For most properties, there is a significant decrease in transactions and #homebuyers compared to active listings and #homeowners. This is leading to price fluctuations. Is the real estate market crashing? Watch and see what I think.
The main contributor to the demand pullback is the increase in interest rate from the Bank of Canada. However, homebuyers need to understand that the GTA is supported by high immigration rates and easier permanent residence for skilled workers, higher wages and low unemployment.
As homeowners, you may want to consider that now is a great time to upsize or downsize. It's better to cash out - despite what their neighbours sold their homes for back in February.
It's extremely difficult to properly time the market. Instead of trying, look at your budget and do not over leverage yourself.
