Alan Mulally is most famous for his tenure as CEO of Ford from 2006 to 2014. In the year he arrived, Ford reported an eleven-figure loss. Alan led the company through a legendary turnaround culminating in five consecutive years of profit before his retirement.
Before joining Ford, Alan served in a number of senior roles at Boeing, including as CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. During this time, Alan contributed to the 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and 787 airplanes.
