Multiple Tangs in the reef tank? As part of a fish rescue mission I found a Powder blue tang at my doorstep needing a home. I was a bit hesitant to add it as I already had a Hippo tang and a Yellow tang established in my tank.. Now i was worried about the Hippo tang and the Powder blue tang since they are the same color..
They kibosh-ed taht theory and basically ignored each-other.. the Yellow tang on the other hand had a bit of a superiority complex..
To help distract his agression I used the mirror trick to distract him and let the powder blue settle in.
Now ideally I would have used an Acclimation box like this [ Ссылка ]
However due to the special deliver i didn't have time to source one.
