Spring in Seoul is Love. We were in Seoul for 7 days in April just in time for Cherry Blossoms peak. In this video, we explore Yeouido / Youido by electric scooter. We think this is the best activity in Youido. We also stayed until evening at Han River Park (Hangang Park).

Trip Date: April 8-14, 2017
*** NOTE: We just started out with vlogging this time so clips are limited and very limited first-person talk for our Spring series. Also, Gopro clips are tilted (sorry!)
In this video, we take a small tour of Yeouido, one of the popular places during cherry blossom season. Since we like experiences more than just looking at things, we decided to rent electric scooters so we get to roam around better.
We found out about it before flying into Seoul but we asked our Korean friend (who we were meeting with that day) to help us in booking our rides because it was impossible to look for the store in Google.
This was probably one of our best experiences and must do activities during our Spring Seoul trip (Don't do it when it's super cold :)

HOW TO GO TO YEOUIDO AND HANGANG PARK
If you're taking the Subway, get off Yeouinaru Station, not Yeouido.
It's one station away from Yeouido but Yeouinaru is closer to the parks than Yeouido station.
There are 4 exits and it really doesn't matter which exit you take since it's in one intersection and there are pedestrian walkways available to cross.
If you want to be specific though - Han River Park is Exit 2.

HOW TO GO TO THE I-BOT STORE
The name of the shop is 아이봇
(type that in Kakao Map and you should see it in there, categorized as Ski and Board Rental)
It's located along Yeouinaru-ro just a few meters (about 100 meters) from the Yeouinaru subway station.
From Yeouinaru subway station, take Exit 1 or 4 and walk on the right side of Yeouinaru-ro which is the adjacent street
The store is in a building on the right. It's a few shops before a bus stop (and Ediya Coffee)
*** There should also be guy near the intersection of the subway station riding a Segue with a promotional sign. You can ask him too.

ELECTRIC SCOOTER DETAILS
At the time of rental, rent fee of any ride was at 10,000KRW per hour (approx US$9)
You can choose between a stand-up electric scooter, sit-down electric scooter (limited), or a Segue.
You may need to bring your passport. We didn't have to since our friend took care of everything. (We even got an additional 30 minutes free).
If you want to go really fast - get the stand-up electric scooter.
Just be mindful of road rules and courtesy. Be safe too.
They'll teach you how to use the scooter so don't worry if it's your first time.
Helmets are available (but not required.. i think)
There are lockers available (Free to use) so you can leave your bags behind.
***Super Important: It's actually not allowed to take any electric ride inside the Han River Park bike trail at least during the time we were there, so best to ask. Your options are Mapo Bridge and Yeouido Park.

WHERE TO PURCHASE ELECTRIC SCOOTER TICKETS ONLINE
If you'd like to purchase tickets online, you may do so through Trazy - [ Ссылка ]
It's slightly cheaper to book onsite but if you'd like the convenience of booking ahead, then you have this option. It's currently at US$11.3 per hour when purchased online.
*** Other Ride Options: If you want to opt to ride a regular or couple bicycle instead. There is a rental place in Hangang Park. Just take Yeouinaru Exit 2, go down the stairs towards the I SEOUL U letters, look around, and you should see it when you reach the bottom.

HAN RIVER PICNIC TIPS
- Bring your own food, order at the nearby food places, stalls, or convenience store (there's one inside the park), or like us - we ordered Chimek and had it delivered to us (not in the video)
- It can get super cold and windy. Opt to bring a blanket, double up on your thermal wear and jacket, or bring a hot pack.
- The grass is well maintained but cut grass can get into your food container when it's windy. Bring something to cover it just in case.
- Be sure to bring a picnic mat. You can buy one at a convenience store (not sure if they sell onsite) or at Daiso. You may opt to sit on the ground but you'll be sure to have a lot of cut grass on your clothes. You may opt to just sit at a bench on the concrete area.
- Be sure to clean up afterwards.
