Mutton Nombu Kanji
Refreshing Porridge for Ramadan
Ingredients Required
*Chopped Mutton
*Idly Rice(White Rice)(Soaked for 30 min)(1/4thGlass)
*Moong Dal(Soaked in water for 30 min)(100g)
*Spices(cloves, cardamom, Cinnamon, Star Anise)
*fenugreek
*Mint and Coriander leaves
*Onion
*Shallots(Small Onion)
*Ginger garlic paste
*Green Chillies
*Tomato
*Coriander Powder
*Mutton Masala
*Coconut Milk
*Salt
*Oil
Method of Preparation
First heat the Cooker and pour Oil and add the spices and fenugreek... Then add the Onions, Chillies and shallots and saute well... Add enough salt. Now add the ginger garlic paste to it and saute until the raw smell goes... Add minced mutton also...Now add the tomato and saute well... Now add little coriander powder and Mutton Masala and mix well... Then finally add the soaked Rice and moong Dal and add enough water needed for porridge... Now pressure cook for 7-8 whistles... After opening add some Coconut Milk to the porridge and stir well... Our Refreshing Ramadan Porridge is ready...
