After using the Spirgrips Plus for about 2 months, it is time to swap them for the SQLab Innerbarends. After a few days, I still haven't completely warmed uop to the SQLab Innerbarends. The grip of the Spirgrips seems more comfortable. They offer more "real estate" for the fingers, more room on the normal handlebar postition and easier to reach the breaks.
Innerbarends offer an hybrid porstion of using the handlebar and the top of your hands wrap around the innerbarends. The angle of the SQLab Innerbarends appears more aggressive and upright compared to the Spirgrips. Don't forget that I am using a Ritchey Kyote handlebar with quite a backsweep, an angle of the normal grip position. The ergonomics and angle is quite different on a flatter handlebar, more typical for mountainbikes.
