In this video lesson we will learn about ordering fractions with different numerators.
Our first step is to make all the denominators the same. We do this by finding common multiples between the existing denominators. When we find a number which is a multiple of all of them we will then use this as our new denominators.
We then need to keep the fraction equivalent to its original value by working our how many we had to multiply the old denominator by to get to the new one, then do the same to the numerator!
Once we have our new set it's easy to order them!
Watch to see how!
Enjoy
