When reforming in 2013 after a year or so of hiatus, MITHRIDATIC, featuring recently recruited permanent member drummer-extraordinaire Kevin PARADIS in their ranks (MELECHESH, SVART CROWN, BENIGHTED…), re-thought and re-shaped their approach to Death Metal which somehow got them jumping in an inner psychological black hole, spiralling further down with each newly written song towards where no light dwells the result of this new stylistic approach soon coagulating in 2014 with the release of their "new debut" single titled "The Hunt Is On" featuring two new tracks that, even after the release of their impressive 2016 debut full-length "Miserable Miracle", are still stapples of MITHRIDATIC’s setlists such as during their 2016 European tour with NILE and on the band’s forthcoming new live album, "He Who Lies Underneath".
Soldout on CD since a while, "The Hunt Is On" is now made available again at last on digital to celebrate MITHRIDATIC’s newly inked deal with XENOKORP. Let’s the Hunting Fever spread!
