Here's a quick video showing how to tie a Baja fishing knot!
Step 1: Form a loop and pinch it at the base, leaving a sizable tag. Slid
the hook onto the tag end and down to the loop.
Step 2: Form a smaller second loop by bringing the tag in front of the
first loop. Pass the tag behind the main line and behind the
shank of the hook to complete the loop. Repeat this step to
create a third loop.
Step 3: Slide the hook to the top of the second loop and put it over the
third loop and through the first loop.
Step 4: Pull the hook to tighten the knot while holding the tag and
bottom of loops.
Description: The Baja knot is used to attach a hook to a loop of line. It can be used for very large diameter mono to form reliable, slip free loops. Note that when using high pound test monofilament, the loop must be fully tightened by securing the hook and pulling hard on the main line.
