The stair climbing aid AssiStep is a Stairaid that increases safety and makes it easier for mobility impaired people to continue climbing stairs in their own home. The stair helper AssiStep consists of a handle connected to a handrail and a locking mechanism. You move the handle in front of you, and the handle locks in place if you are about to fall, looses balance or apply force to it.
