It's great to preregister before you have a baby because there's enough things that we need to ask you when you come to the hospital like your medical history and your health history and why you got there at the first place and all sorts of other questions. So if you want to eliminate these sorts of questions like whats your insurance and your demographics then you can preregister and get that all taken care of ahead of time. It's good to do it when your about 28 weeks or so, beginning of your 3rd trimester because then if you have issues with preterm labor then it's been taken care of before any of that happens.
