Colorado Springs School District 11 is working with cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and extent of a major data breach that may have originally taken place in November of 2018. D-11 says an unauthorized third party gained access to a set of data related to the AIMSweb 1.0 platform owned by Pearson, a company that provides products to schools worldwide to aid in education. Colorado Springs School District 11 used the AIMSweb 1.0 platform up until early 2019.
