Chapman has a new SGA President.
After online voting had been open for 2 days, the results are in for the seat of President and Vice President. Natalya Subbotina beat out Andrew Schreyer with 863 votes. Chris Im ran unopposed for Vice President and earned 763 votes.
SGA celebrated with a cake on hand to welcome in the new executives.
The president elect says she looks forward to moving Chapman in a positive direction.
"It's such a relief that so many people supported me. I can't wait to start- I can't wait to do all the things that I've wanted to do. I'm really excited to work with Chris and the rest of the new senate that's going to come, and just, made the school a better place..."
"I really do believe in the issues that I've advocated for, including increasing academic support, and addressing the social divides in our campus. I think I need to educate myself and one of my first steps continuing this semester is starting to reach our to different communities on campus and learning about how I can be an advocate and ally for them."
