On October 13th of 2023, it was confirmed that volcanic uplift was once again ongoing at Iceland's Fagradalsfjall volcano. This suggests that magma is building at a depth of 15 kilometers, possibly leading to a magmatic intrusion in the next 3 months. This video will discuss what might happen next, the context of this ground deformation, and the apparent cycle the Fagradalsfjall volcano seems to undergo.
