On July 2, 2005, the band met with its 4 original members once again for a single performance at the Live 8 concert in London. Waters' return meant they played again after 24 years. Pink Floyd performed a set of four songs: "Speak to Me / Breathe", "Money", "Wish You Were Here" and "Comfortably Numb", with Gilmour and Waters sharing the vocal work. At the end of the performance all the members merged into a joint hug that became one of the most famous images of the concert.
After 24 separate years and long judicial disputes, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Nick Mason, the four members of the most famous stage of Pink Floyd, played once again together on stage (it was also the last ), during the concert held in London, being the most watched moment of the entire event.
