I wanted to test Borderlands 3 on my old Gaming laptop ASUS G74SX with the GTX 560M , while it may sound awesome it actually is in 2019 a super low en PC, I was decent when it came out in 2011 but now it is pretty bad, gaming laptop have come a long way since 2011, the GTX 560M has only about 40% of the performance of the desktop GTX 560.
The GTX 560m can be compared with GT 650M or the GT 640, and I think both are a little bit better than the GTX 560M
The Game is actually very playable at 720p with 75% resolution scale with shadows at medium (can try high, it does improve a lot the visual but can reduce quite a bit the fps, but still playable), ambient occlusion on low , and some anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering to help smooth out the low resolution edges
LAPTOP SPECS ASUS G74SX
CPU: Core i7 2670HQ 2.2Ghz
GPU: GTX 560M 3GB
Ram : 16 GB 1333mhz
HDD: 2 TB firecuda HDD
I'm using throttlestop, to disable turbo boost, 2nd gen laptop CPU are super dumb so they like to throttle like crazy
I'm recording with a capture card so the PC has no performance impact while recording
PD: Normally I play on English but I forgot to change the language for the game on this PC srry
