At one time, there was a famous lake in NJ where all the wealthy NYC and Hollywood actors and celebrities would go to party in summer. Times have changed, you can't tear people off their couch anymore or away from their cellphones ... But the lake is still there. The crowded banks of Lake Hopatcong's multi-million dollar homes, the vast array of water activities on the lake, islands on the lake with beautiful homes which are only accessible at certain times of the year ... it's like traveling back in history, many summers ago in time, to simpler times and simpler pleasures. I was invited by Captain Robert Geiss Jr and Chief Mate Joe Mills to spend a day aboard his boat. We almost didn't make it. The boat was D.O.A. Was it sabotage or nature showing who was more powerful. Take a little summer vacation with me over the next 5 minutes as we spend a day on the lake ... Make sure to wipe the seat when you get up.
