I'll just start with minor stuff, the losses. I counted this time. 2, 1 to Lance, 1 to Blue. This was pretty painless, the growing pains or trial and error process was relatively quick. The team had to have Kleavor, Meowscarada, and Hitmonlee, as they were the 3 biggest players in the run. Armarouge and Tinkaton filled in mainly because I enjoyed using them, but also needing their coverage and typing. Of course, I can't do an HC run without Encore, especially against the E4, but it was only used against Dialga. Gholdengo wasn't used at all before the E4. Note that its shiny is pretty much identical to its base form, so no point shiny hunting it. On top of that, it and Gimmighoul can't even breed, so the only kinds of shiny hunting I could do for this is either a wonder egg encounter or Safari Zone, screw those methods. Anyway, Gholdengo's typing was so damn useful, it's crazy that Ghost/Steel finally got expanded beyond the Honedge line, and you see what a different kind of Ghost/Steel can do, proving the typing is awesome. Coverage was amazing too, Focus Blast being great for the Champion battle. This was really my first extensive session with Gholdengo, and I'm impressed. Expect that to be used in future Monotype runs.
The video does have some Crits, a Hydro Pump miss by Ludicolo, and maybe other bits where extraordinary RNG benefit me. I believe I still would've gone through the E4 without those instances, I had Unburden Liechi Berry Hitmonlee for crying out loud, one of the ultimate late-game sweepers, or even an early sweeper as seen in the Lorelei rain battle. All the mons in this team will be used a lot in future Monotype runs, they essentially represent some of the best of their respective typing.
I must say, it's awesome that the Champion rematch allows you to battle the other teams. That means not needing other save files that contain those teams, and not having to prepare the same team in 2 different saves! Everything's streamlined, quicker, and no awkward transitions from shiny mons to non-shiny. Just awesome.
The music's from Hollow Knight, The Grimm Troupe.

Oh and earlier this week, I watched Street Fighter, the 1994 live action movie. I've seen it a bunch of times before. Still holds up as a "so bad it's good" movie.
Enjoy the video.
