Kevin Durant led the Suns with 35 points (14-of-34 FGs), eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers in a 117-107 overtime win over the Nuggets on Tuesday.
For just the 22nd time in his career and the third time this season, Durant took over 30 shots in a game. KD isn’t typically one to force shots, but he was extra aggressive in this game. It wasn’t a great shooting night until overtime, where he had eight points on 3-of-3 shooting with two 3-pointers. He took over to help prevent the Suns from losing a third straight game for the first time since December. This was his 12th straight game with at least 20 points, and he will look to stay hot against Toronto on Thursday.
