We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Arva Moore Parks McCabe, a great friend of the Wolfson Archives and one of the guiding lights of Miami history. Here is a 1979 interview of Arva from WTVJ's Montage news magazine show that gives a glimpse of her special talent for bringing our history to life. Thank you, Arva!
In this 1979 interview Parks reveals rare photographs of early Miami, many taken by Commodore Ralph Munro. A selection of these photographs were published in McCabe's book, "The Forgotten Frontier."
