Collage of scenes from Tanya the Evil The Movie, where it basically says "Fuck the commies!!" Been a while since I made something for this chan, and when viewing the movie, I found all the Communist bashing and smack-talk really funny - although often with more than one grain of truth to it also.
Saga of Tanya the Evil (both the series as the movie) is highly recommended. While it's an isekai, and that genre has been done to death these last years, there are some interesting plotdevices and twists being done, and the worldbuilding is quite peculiar: half fantasy (mages), half realistic (how the people live and a country operates). It's also half historically correct; it's some sort of parallel universe with the technology and the historic world-events somewhere between WW1 and WW2.
It even goes to great, but subtle details in depicting this parallel world in very-similar-but-not-quite-identical depth. For instance, in the movie there is a right-hand man (of a person whom only can be described as the equivalent of Stalin), who leers and lusts after young women. Most will not realize this, but this is factually true; Lavrentiy Pavlovich Beria was a Soviet politician, Marshal of the Soviet Union and state security administrator, chief of the Soviet security, and chief of the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD) under Joseph Stalin during World War II, and promoted to deputy premier under Stalin from 1941. He even looks like him, apart from the birthmark - which seem to be taken from Gorbachev; a hilarious changed detail.
On warm nights during the war Beria was often driven around Moscow in his limousine - exactly as is shown in the Tanya anime movie. He would point out young women to be taken to his mansion, and then, Beria would take the women into his soundproofed office and rape them. This historical fact, of course, is unknown to most watchers of the anime, but the fact they included this man as an actual person within this world, is no coincidence, nor just a "typical anime perv" trope, thus.
Also; the statue that Tanya destroys is actually something the commies wanted to build In Soviet Russia, but never got around to. They did in this world, hence the remark of Tanya. I love this eye for details the studio put in there, even though 90+% of the people watching it will not notice or realize it.
