Mouth of the dragon
Fire doth roar,
Guiding lights lead
To that beast on the shore.
Heart of a town
For time then to tame,
A place and its people
With pride in its name.
This town made of steel
Port Talbots great hope,
With much more to offer
Than that steel works of smoke.
A great hidden beauty
For all those that stay,
One magical Aberavon
Where as kids we did play.
Hard working people
Busy lives there to live,
Smiling happy faces
So much love there to give.
These are the real heroes
Not the steel works of smoke,
The people, the passion
Of a town filled with Hope.
This town it keeps me contented
No more never do i roam,
Mouth of the dragon
Port Talbot my home.
