A group of nine doctors, educators and disability advocates from Ukraine, visiting Detroit as part of the U.S. Agency for International Development, toured the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) at Henry Ford Medical Center-Southfield to explore best practices in care and therapy for children with autism. Knowledge acquired in the U.S. will assist in establishing a new level of service in Ukraine to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
