Our Lady of Assumption Church is the ancient Marian pilgrim centre at Vlathankara, in a small but beautiful village, Chenkal, on the outskirts of Neyyattinkara in Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala in the south part of India, dedicated to Our Lady Of Assumption, belongs to the Latin Diocese of Neyyattinkara.
The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven is celebrated with Pontifical Eucharistic celebration and Holy Eucharistic procession every year, on August 15.
