Even if you don't know it, or haven't heard of it, you will learn how to use the Chromatic Scale to add some punch and flavour to your bass lines. You will learn how to play the Chromatic Scale in different positions across the neck using some really simple scale patterns and learn how to take sequences of chromatic notes, combine them with the chord and scale tones you are using and play them in your bass lines.

There are a ton of songs that uses chromatic lines, so much in fact that you might not even be aware how much it gets used.

Practising Chromatic scales is a great harmonic workout, but will also improve your technique and help develop all-round good technique.

There's also a quick look at dominant 7 chords in this lesson.

You'll be playing using chromatic runs in your bass lines before you know it and playing smoothly & fluidly across the entire bass neck and the new things you find to practise will help you play a ton of exciting new bass lines too. This is a great lesson for players of all levels.
