Today we were live at the NY Autoshow with the new Kia EV9! The new major 7 passenger EV9 SUV and it looks super similar to the concept and has a swiveling second row! The design truly is epic: a boxy, cyberpunk version of the Telluride some may say; serving as the brands flagship SUV. Today Kia announced the EV9 will start production in Georgia as well, taking advantage of the federal tax credit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
@Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: The base model gets a 76.1 kWh battery pack and RWD making 215HP and 258 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 in 8.2sec. Then the RWD Long Range gains a 99.8kWh battery pack, a 201HP motor, 9.4sec 0-60 time, and 336 miles of WLTP range. The range topping model features dual motor AWD, 380HP, 0-60 in 6 sec, and a boost mode to 5.3sec. (We don’t know all the ranges yet) The 800v system allows for fast charging.

Its sizeable 126.0-inch wheelbase and totally flat floor for all that room, while Kia even pushed the wheels outward as much as possible in an effort to extend the platform. Inside also consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a new Level 3 Highway Driving Pilot in select markets. Thanks to 15 sensors, including two lidars, HDP will be able to scan for and detect objects in a full 360-degree field of view to prevent potential collisions. We also see the GT-Line trim with sporty accents. A Full GT model is coming in the future.
