Sterling silver treasure thrift store find. I Kendall Todd went to the goodwill thrift store and I was hunting for a Treasure I looked by the jewelry I didn’t really find anything I liked but I found this sterling silver small cup. God blessed me with the sterling silver find. I have been treasure hunting at thrift stores for years and I have come across a lot of sterling silver and gold over the years. If you were searching for treasure it is important to know what to look for some of the things to look for me include the marks / words sterling, ster, stg,925, 950, 14k, 585, 750, 18k, 10k, 417 etc. there is a lot more marks than this that may indicate that the item is real gold or silver or not but this is a start. Also some pieces that may be real silver and Rio gold may not have any marks on them at all. A really good spot to find a sterling silver and eight of store is to look where the spoons knives and forks are and many times you may be able to find knife handles that are sterling silver and may have a half a Troy oz Of silver in them.
