Viewtiful Joe was a quite interesting game, with menus and an interface having this movie theater aesthetic, characters and scenarios taking a lot of inspiration from the Toku genre from japan, and having everything fused by a Cell-Shading style gave it a really unique look, one that, thanks to those cartoon style, evades looking too "aged" for today standards.
Also based on those cinema themes, the powers of the main character let him slow down or accelerate movements, kinda like rewinding a movie or doing a fast forward. This power will not only help you dealing with enemies but also solve different "puzzles" that the game put in your way, because it also changes how you interact with the stage.
