This video shows solar storms as gusts of dense solar wind, leaving the Sun every few days. In the movie, the Sun is situated to the right, a bit outside of the camera field of view. Venus and Mercury appear after a few days as bright dots, with Mercury being the dot which is moving faster.
It is an example of the observations by the heliospheric imagers onboard the STEREO Ahead spacecraft, shown here for March 2012. The STEREO mission is operational since its launch in 2006 and has revolutionized our understanding of the Sun and the heliosphere.
