This robot car is designed to continually detect obstacles in its path and autonomously navigate around them. The key component for obstacle detection is the Ultrasonic sensor (HC-SR04) mounted on the robot. When the car encounters an obstacle during forward movement, it halts and deploys the ultrasonic sensor, mounted on a servo motor, to scan both sides. This allows the robot to identify a path with fewer obstacles, optimizing its trajectory. The noteworthy aspect of this project is the integration of an L293D Motor Shield, simplifying the construction and wiring process. The use of the motor shield enhances motor control capabilities, contributing to the overall ease of building and operating this obstacle-avoiding robot.
