The deal will see Hyundai's Georgia Metaplant powered by up to 147 MW of solar energy. This energy comes from Matrix's Stillhouse Solar Project in Texas, starting October 2025. Hyundai will receive 378 GWh of solar energy annually, covering 70% of the project's capacity. Despite a slowdown in U.S. EV sales, Hyundai's EV sales soared by 62% year-over-year in Q1 2023.
