A short documentation of my small colony of Monomorium minimum.
This is a very docile species and they don't seem to be bothered by light or movement.
It's only been a little after 1 month since they've laid their eggs and the colony is already at an estimated 30 workers! This species is a fast growing species for sure. Probably faster even faster than the notorious S. invicta!
I've read that this species can be difficult to keep in captivity and only last up to 1 year in captivity so fingers crossed. So far they've been very simple to keep.
