Transcript: This year, the Canadian Human Rights Act celebrates its 45th anniversary. The Act protects the right of every person in Canada to live free from discrimination. Canada has made much human rights progress since the Act was adopted. But we still have a long way to go. We must build on our past, to make a better future. Starting today. To mark this milestone, the Canadian Human Rights Commission is launching 45 calls for inclusion. Too many people in Canada still face discrimination and exclusion every day. Together, we must keep pushing for progress and equality for everyone. And build an inclusive and diverse Canada that is a model of human rights around the world. #45callsforinclusion
