About Us – a spectacular, never seen, free open-air event that combines live performances and multimedia installations to celebrate the entire history of the universe from the Big Bang to the present day – arrives in Hull on 30 April 2022 for one week only as part of its five-stop UK tour.

About Us is part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of creativity taking place across the UK in 2022. It includes:

• A free open-air spectacular event in Hull exploring 13.8 billion years of history
• Live shows created by 59 Productions, the award-winning video artists behind the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, Stemettes and The Poetry Society featuring poems and Scratch animations by young people from across the UK
•Hull Freedom Chorus perform brand new original score by Nitin Sawhney CBE

Times: Pre-show from 9pm, show from 9:30pm – 11pm. The show lasts 25 minutes and runs multiple times per evening.
