Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross was ridiculed during a debate in Holyrood for his linesman decision, which was overridden by VAR, last month during a Scottish Premiership game between St Mirren and Livingston in Paisley.
SNP's George Adam, MSP from Paisley, recalled the Tory leader's performance in the match, saying Ross had a 'terrible game, missing a stonewall penalty but that was corrected by VAR' before comparing the crowd attendance to membership numbers of the Scottish Conservatives.
During the debate, the Scottish Tories pushed for a statement on the turmoil engulfing the SNP, claiming it is “in the public interest”.
Led by Douglas Ross, the party want clarity on the financial situation within the ruling SNP party.
First Minister Humza Yousaf was not present during the Transparency of Scotland's Governing Party debate in the Scottish Parliament.
