Butterscotch cake | homemade butterscotch sauce & praline | caramel cake | butterscotch cake recipe

INGREDIENTS:

For butterscotch sponge cake;

Egg white - 4 large eggs(120 gm)
Egg yolks - 4 large eggs(72 gm)
Fine sugar - 9.5 tbsp(120 gm)
Plain flour - 13 tbsp(120 gm)
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Vegetable oil - 1 ounce(30 gm)
Milk - 1.5 ounce(40 gm)
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp

for praline;

Almonds - 1/2 cup
Brown sugar - 3/4 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp

for whipping cream frosting;

Whipping cream - 250 ml
Yellow colour - 2 to 3 drops
Icing sugar - 2 tbsp

for butterscotch sauce;

Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1/4 cup
Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
