I realized I wasn't willing to treat my bees and experienced a lot of losses. This started me thinking about what kind of bees I really wanted to keep. Feral bees, VSH, Italian and other bees, along with traits by themselves have been a part of my decision making process. I will probably continue to change the way I put importance on certain traits as long as I keep honey bees.
