If your spinning reel is feeling weird to you. Got some tightness that you don’t like, you may simply need to lube your spinning reel to get it smooth as butter. First, I’m going to show you my basic way that requires no tools and is a maintenance function for me. I do this periodically throughout the year when needed and it only takes a few minutes. My advanced lubrication that I do around once a year where I take a deep dive into the gearing and break out the grease and it can get involved and requires some tools.
